I had an unforgettable stay at the Riffelalp Resort, which offers breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and excellent amenities. The spacious rooms with direct views were a definite highlight, providing a warm feeling of wanting to stay forever. Although the service was mostly commendable, I did experience one unpleasant encounter at the bar. Overall, the dining options were fantastic with a lovely variety, but it’s worth noting that the dessert menu could use some improvement.

The dining experiences are diverse and high quality, and the wellness facilities are a true highlight. However, while the snow activities are fantastic, we felt the bowling alley fees were a bit unexpected. Overall, it's a luxurious retreat that makes every moment special.

6.2/10

Overall, my experience at the hotel was quite mixed. While I was many beautiful features, such as the stunning views of the Matterhorn and the elegant room design, I faced significant issues with service and dining that left a sour taste. The location is excellent for skiing right in and out, but the unprofessional behavior of some staff and the uninspired dining options weigh heavily on my overall impression. I would consider returning if improvements are made.

Dining was a disappointment overall; the menu in the main restaurant lacked appeal, and service was clumsy.

The spa facilities were decent, although they felt a bit run down and in need of refurbishment.

Every part of my visit felt seamless, especially with the exceptional service that made me feel well cared for throughout my stay. The dining was truly delightful, with a variety of exquisite options available. However, while the resort is luxurious, the price tag reflects the premium experience and might be a consideration for future visits.
